Robyn Aydeott

Robyn Aydelott is right at home in the Tulsa media market and is your point of contact for media relations. She has been with Diane White PR since the fall of 2012. She is there with a client every step of the way— from writing and pitching a story idea to helping you feel at ease in the interview chair. She knows her way around the newsroom and television studio.

Robyn says, “I have loved working my way through the television news business in production, news and promotions departments. Now I can bring that expertise and knowledge to help clients share their story.”

Robyn worked for several years at KOTV as a News Producer and at KOKI in the Promotions Department here in Tulsa. She also gained great experience working at KTVT in Dallas/Ft. Worth, a top 5 news market. So, you might think Robyn’s last name looks and sounds familiar, she’s married to local Chief Meteorologist James Aydelott. They have two children Dylan and Emily and a Golden Retriever named Mia.

Favorite place to take “out of towners”: We usually take visitors on a little driving tour of Tulsa, through Downtown and along Riverside Drive. It’s just a unique and pretty part of our city. For the most part…we love to entertain at home and in our own backyard!

Favorite Music Artist: I love George Strait! I’ve seen him in concert seven times, and even have a signed picture of him!

Favorite Dessert: James’ homemade Tirimisu! I really could eat the entire pan!

Favorite Vacation Spot: We love going to Southern California to visit family every year. It’s great to go to the mountains for the day and then be back in time for dinner on the beach! We also loved going to Mexico before we had the kiddos!

Favorite Favorite Places to Take the Kids: My kids are still pretty little, but I can’t wait to go to the Tulsa Zoo, The Oklahoma Aquarium and The Children’s Museum. For now, I have fun taking them to the neighborhood pool, to church and to the grandparents’ houses!

Favorite Adventure: : I love getting the rare chance to go on a flying dinner date with my husband (Pretty Woman style). Ok, so it’s not in a private jet! My husband is a private pilot and we love to fly in our small plane to try out new (or old favorite) places to eat.
